Our Aim when breeding
The importance of health screening
From the outset, health screening has been a big part of the Assured Breeders scheme which we are part of. Every breed has its own list of specific health testing requirements and recommendations, including DNA tests, Breed Club health initiatives, and BVA/KC Canine Health Schemes. Compliance not only demonstrates to our puppy buyers that we as breeders have taken every step possible to ensure that their puppy is healthy now and will continue to be in the future, but it also aligns with our long-term goal of improving the health and welfare of dogs for generations to come.

Temperament Of the parents/Puppies
Biology teaches us that there are two main ingredients that contribute to making all of us what we are: genetics (“nature”) and the environment (“nurture”). In dogs a large proportion of their personality is due to their inherited genes from both parents.
When it came to the personality of the puppies, they fall somewhere in the middle relative to their parents.
We only breed from parents that are good in nature and clear on tests.
You are the next step in continuing the puppies journey and will play a big part of how your puppy develops.
Our dogs are the nature (genetics)and you will nurture (love and support) your new puppy.We look for stud that have a good breed standard, temperament and we also look at the puppies they have sired previously as this is a good way to see what temperaments they may grow up with.
From 0-8 Weeks what we do
We use different ways to check when a girl is nearing birth, like for example her temperature drop. I have observed in all of our a 1 degree drop in temps approx 24 hrs before puppies start arriving. Once mum has started to give birth shes isn't left unsupervised for the next 2 weeks at least to ensure hers and the puppies are all doing well. You may not have heard of ENS or ESI, but we have learnt that these exercises are important for a healthier, better dog. That is why we make sure that each of our puppies from 3-16 days old practice these exercises.
Early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction
ENS is a prescribed series of exercises which each puppy goes through, every day, from Days 3-16, for 3-5 seconds each time.
This exposes the puppy to very slight stressors - which have an optimal effect on the developing brain and immune system.
ESI is an Avidog concept. It exposes the puppy to one novel non-food scent each day, from Days 3-16, for 5 seconds each time. This stimulates the development of the nose and scenting abilities.
From the moment they open their eyes and ears the pace quickens and their world opens up.
We work hands on everyday with our puppies to ensure they receive the correct love, stimulation along with potty training and lots of playtime. By the time you are ready to take your new little family member they will be happy, confident and raring to start the journey with your new family
